Classic Lasagna with Ricotta Cheese

Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 jar marinara sauce
– 1 cup ricotta cheese
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
– Lasagna noodles, cooked
– Salt and pepper to taste

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Stir in marinara sauce and season with salt and pepper.
4. In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.
5. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce, followed by a layer of noodles, and a layer of cheese mixture. Repeat layers.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

– 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
