Refreshing Cucumber Mint Lemonade

Stay cool and hydrated with this refreshing twist on classic lemonade.

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups cold water
1 cucumber, sliced
A handful of fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

In a small saucepan, combine sugar with 1 cup of water and heat until sugar is dissolved. Let cool.
In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, sugar syrup, and remaining water. Stir well.
Add cucumber slices and mint leaves to the pitcher. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
Serve over ice and garnish with additional cucumber slices and mint leaves.

Spicy Jalapeno Pineapple Lemonade

Add a kick of heat to your lemonade with this spicy and sweet combination.

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups cold water
1 jalapeno, sliced
1 cup fresh pineapple juice

Instructions:

In a small saucepan, combine sugar with 1 cup of water and heat until sugar is dissolved. Let cool.
In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, sugar syrup, pineapple juice, and remaining water. Stir well.
Add jalapeno slices to the pitcher. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
