1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup mixed vegetables (corn, peas, carrots)
1 cup beef broth
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups instant mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
Stir in the mixed vegetables, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the instant mashed potatoes according to package instructions.
Spread the beef mixture in a baking dish. Top with the mashed potatoes and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
