Classic Japchae Recipe with Chicken

Ingredients:

– 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
– 8 ounces sweet potato noodles
– 1 onion, sliced
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 2 carrots, julienned
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons sesame oil
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Steps:

1. Cook sweet potato noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add onions, bell pepper, and carrots. Cook until vegetables are tender.
4. Add cooked chicken back to the skillet. Season with soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
5. Add cooked sweet potato noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.

– Green onions for garnish
